

Dr. Jan Wille

Dr. Jan H. Wille is a Partner in the Hamburg office of Strategy&, PwC’s strategy consulting business. He is a member of the Industrial Products and Public Sector practices and has wide-ranging experience across the defence and security sector, working at the seam between industry and the military. He advises private sector and public clients in the EMEA region on large-scale transformations, strategy formulation, operating model design and supply chain management.

Jan is a frequent speaker at defence and security conferences and has published a number of defence-related articles including 'Five megatrends and their implications for defence and security' and 'Integrated defense and security solutions: Acquiring prime contractor capabilities'.
Prior to joining Strategy& in 2009, Jan was a business development manager at a public-private defence company, a research associate in the area of technical logistics, and a logistics officer of the German Armed Forces. Jan earned his PhD in mechanical engineering and his diploma degree in industrial engineering, both from Helmut Schmidt University in Hamburg, and was a visiting scholar at the Wharton School in Philadelphia.
