Chris Mar is a senior leader in PwC’s strategy consulting practice in Canada and a core member of PwC’s technology, media and telecommunications practice.
Chris has worked extensively with Canadian and global clients on engagements related to innovation, commercial growth, operational efficiency, long-term strategic planning, organizational redesign and mergers & acquisitions. He has managed numerous client relationships across telecom, media, manufacturing and private equity.
Chris’ experience in the telecom sector has been at the intersection of business, customer experience and technology; which has included strategy and operating model development, and optimizing go to market activities. He has also helped companies manage capital efficiency, deliver operational improvements within networks, call centers, business solutions & corporate functions. As well as how to leverage data and analytics to create top line and bottom line growth.
Prior to joining PwC, Chris worked for Celestica as the vice president of corporate strategy. He previously worked for The Boston Consulting Group and held leadership roles at TELUS and Ericsson. Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Master’s of Business Administration from Ivey Business School.
