Focusing on Operations Strategy, Ricardo leads large-scale operations strategy and merger integration opportunities from Strategy&’s Fit for Growth and Deals platforms. He brings over 20 years of management consulting experience with market eminence in operations & supply chain restructuring, a successful track record in delivering COGS & SG&A impact for consumer goods clients, and an extensive case portfolio of exceeding operational synergies from M&A transactions. Among other, he has led the integration of the supply chain functions and the generation of synergies for major mergers in consumer products.
Ricardo serves clients across food & beverage, cosmetics & beauty, alcohol & spirits, personal care, and apparel & clothing and acts as a subject matter expert in pre- and post-merger integration, supply chain transformation, digital supply chain, digital procurement, operating model design, direct materials & commodities, and advanced cost transformation.
Before joining Strategy&, he has served as a Senior Partner for Deloitte Consulting and A.T. Kearney where he has led the M&A Supply Chain, Digital Procurement and Supply Management practices, has headed regional operations in Washington DC, Mexico and Latin America, and has served in leadership committees for global partner selection and diversity & inclusion.
Ricardo holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology – Sloan School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
